Today, we organized the final theoretical training session (June 15) on the topic ‘Build Your Network and Support System.’ The training began with a summary of the issues addressed on the fourth day of training and a review of the main points. Key topics covered included:
– Explaining job networking that matches our experience.
– Discussing the importance of networking in job searching and overcoming obstacles.
– Providing ideas on existing connections and exploring online platforms like LinkedIn.
– Guiding participants on setting SMART goals and the steps to create a network.
– Professional development opportunities: necessary training programs for capacity building, certifications, and continuing education.
There were discussions, group work, and role-playing activities involving the younger participants. These activities led to constructive discussions and sharing opinions on the addressed issues.
“These trainings have greatly empowered me with new and practical information that will be very useful and I will use when needed,” said Ardenis, a participant.
At the end of the training, participants completed evaluation forms, providing their opinions and comments on the overall training and specific aspects.
The training sessions are held at the Social Center for People in Need (QSNNN). This initiative is organized in partnership with the municipality of Fushë Arrëz as part of the ‘No Borders for Work!’ project under the IPA Cross Border Program 2014-2020. The project is implemented by a consortium of local government and civil society actors from Montenegro and Albania, including the municipality of Cetinje (MNE), the municipality of Fushë Arrëz, the Institute of Sustainable Policies, and ProAct Hub (Podgorica), funded by the European Union.
